Free Wills Month is provided by charities to offer members of the public aged 55 and over the opportunity to have their simple Wills written or updated free of charge by using participating attorneys in specific areas.
Most charities depend on gifts in Wills for up to half their income – by taking part in Free Wills Month you could help a favorite cause.

The attorney will help to draw up a Will that accurately reflects the wishes of the individual or couple. Those taking up the offer are under no obligation to leave a gift to any of the sponsoring charities, however, we earnestly hope that many will see this as a chance to help a wonderful cause.
Free Wills Month is intended for individuals or couples age 55 and over. In the case of couples making ‘mirror’ Wills, it is sufficient that one has reached the age of 55.
No. The only documentation that is sent on to us is the confidential declaration form which asks questions such as where people heard of the campaign, their age and whether or not they have left a gift to a sponsoring charity.
We have agreed that the campaign will cover the writing of ‘simple’ Wills. If your Will needs some more work, the attorney may ask you to pay the balance yourself, however, most people only require simple Wills.
